In the context of the Year of Consecrated Life, the FSPs of Italy recently held an encounter on the theme: Wake up the World! Women Consecrated for the New Evangelization.
The purpose of the event was to underscore our Pauline presence in the Church and in the world of communications over the past hundred years and to highlight the special role consecrated women carry out in the service of the Gospel.
The meeting, which was held on 21 November at the SGM Conference Center, Rome, featured talks by Sr. Dolores Melis, FSP Provincial Superior of Italy; Sr. Antonietta Potente and Sr. Fernanda Barbiero, theologians; and Sr. Anna Caiazza, FSP General Councilor.
Serving as moderator was Sr. Cristiana Caricato, a journalist and the author of several books published by the Daughters of St. Paul.
