On 3 October 2015, the members of the 4 FSP communities in Portugal, together with a large group of their relatives, friends and collaborators, made a pilgrimage to Fatima to celebrate the Centenary of the Institutes foundation.
In union with other pilgrims from all over the world, they walked in procession to the Chapel of Apparitions, where, at the feet of Mary, our Mother and Queen, they thanked the Lord for the Pauline life and mission in that part of the world. A solemn Liturgy for this intention was celebrated by
Lisbons Auxiliary Bishop José Traquina, two other bishops and a number of priests. This was followed by a moment of fraternal celebration in which the sisters briefly sketched out the history of the Daughters of St. Paul in Portugal and expressed their gratitude and joy at being part of the Institutes 100-year story of service to the Church and world.
