The FSPs in Manaus, the beautiful capital of the state of Amazonas, celebrated with joy and gratitude the Institute’s Centenary of foundation by means of a solemn Eucharistic Liturgy presided over by Archbishop Sergio Castriani in Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Representatives of other branches of the Pauline Family, together with the sisters- many collaborators, employees and friends, joined the sisters in thanking God wholeheartedly for the many amazing things he has accomplished in and through our Congregation over the past century.
The Manaus community also organized and guided a Centenary pilgrimage that included stops at Holy Family Sanctuary, the Amazon Sat TV Studio, St. Sebastian Parish and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Our sisters incorporated the vocation apostolate into their pilgrimage by recounting to the participants their vocation stories and were delighted when several young women asked how they could get to know the Pauline charism better.
